Dear Green Place

Sofa Art - Numbered Limited edition hand-made cushion. Only 100 of each design will ever be made.

Watercolour by Scottish based artist Victoria Evans. After the Gaelic name for Glasgow 'Glas-ghu' which means 'Dear Green Place. This tree grows in the gardens of Rennie MacKintosh's 'House for An Art Lover' in Glasgow's leafy Southside, near to the artist's home.

33cm x 46cm, these well stuffed pillow-shaped artworks are digitally printed on bright white Cotton Panama and backed with an equally durable rich black Cotton Drill. The edges are double-hemmed for a faux-piped finish.

The inner is man-made and the covers have an envelope opening at the back for easy cleaning. The advanced full-colour printing process means prints are fade-resistant and durable, and I've had some good results with machine washing, but to best cherish this covetable limited edition artwork I would recommend keeping Sofa Art out of strong sunlight and using professional dry cleaning only.

Some air will be removed for posting, but a good shake and a plumping is all that is needed to resettle the filling and restore Sofa Art to it's cushiony best.
